GEORGETOWN, Ky. (July 25, 2023) – Georgetown Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Martin Castillo, MD, to the medical staff at Bluegrass Pediatrics & Internal Medicine. Dr. Castillo will help expand pediatric treatment services throughout the community and increase access to pediatric care for Spanish-speaking families in the area.
Dr. Castillo will focus on the health of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. He will advise parents on child health, diagnose and treat infections, provide well-child and sick visits, offer vaccinations and maintain medical. He is a native Spanish speaker and provides care in either English or Spanish.“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Martin Castillo to Bluegrass Pediatrics & Internal Medicine here in Georgetown," said Cliff Wilson, Chief Executive Officer at Georgetown Community Hospital. "Not only will Dr. Castillo help fill a needed pediatric provider role in the community, but he’s also able to help families that may otherwise experience language barriers. Dr. Castillo earned his medical degree from the Universidad Catóelica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. He also completed his pediatric residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY.
